What Is The Maj Method?
The Maj Method is a proprietary system of teaching that encompasses four different reading and comprehension learning systems These systems are driven by data and science over numerous years of implementation in education systems across the country with proven results.
Using our wealth of experience and knowledge working with children for the last decade, we've figured out a way to combine the right pieces of each system at the right time to maximize student growth. In a normal school curriculum, often times these are applied and taught in a general way to the whole class. Before you know it, they are moving on to the next thing, whether your child has mastered it or not.
We all know, once you're behind - it's almost impossible to get caught up while new information is being constantly introduced. This impacts your child's self esteem and confidence, which can lead to an even tougher time with learning.
Your child deserves education as special and unique as they are to truly reach their maximum potential!
How Does It Work?
We conduct an hour long assessment that measures phonemic awareness, phonics, and spelling to get an idea where the cracks are in your child's reading foundation. This initial assessment is $97.
Once we finish your child's assessment, we evaluate the results and create a individualized learning roadmap to show their strengths and weaknesses. We then create a laser-focused education plan to target the areas that your child needs the most growth in.
What Is Included In My Child's Investment?
Investment total for the program is $888 per month. Every child is different, but based on the last few years of data collection, it takes on average 3 months to see real mastery of skills.
Significant growth and improvement in the specific areas of reading and competency that are outlined in your child's assessment.
Gained confidence from working in a 1:1 environment
Working for mastery of foundational reading skills at your child's learning pace.
3 one hour learning sessions per week (12 per month)
Individualized learning plan that is strategically based on the skills assessments.
Fun, multi-sensory learning
Online games that are made specifically for your child to practice.
Weekly communication that discusses what skills were worked on.
Data driven instruction and results shared with you.
